Finding Pathways to Joy Wisdom and Connection
Are you searching for ways to cultivate genuine happiness and well-being? 2025 has been a tumultuous year, and it is not news that some people are finding it harder to find happiness. As a church, we believe that active involvement in a church congregation can greatly enhance your journey to happiness. Belonging to a community of faith provides a supportive network, meaningful rituals, and opportunities to serve others—each contributing to lasting well-being and a sense of purpose. Let’s find ways to generate more happiness, both in the world and in our own lives!
This six-week class explores the latest research and proven practices that can help you create a more joyful and meaningful life. Each session offers interactive exercises drawn from positive psychology, mindfulness, and gratitude studies—tools that empower you to reshape daily habits, foster deeper relationships, and boost your emotional health through intentional actions. The intent is to go beyond theory, learning and trying out practical steps to nurture happiness in everyday life.
Some strategies are well known — gratitude journaling, acts of kindness, and resilience-building practices — while others will be new to you. We will look at the scientific evidence, and be encouraged to reflect, set realistic goals, and support others — all in a warm, welcoming environment designed for growth and encouragement.
This is a good opportunity to invite a friend to experience how participating in church life, engaging in worship, and sharing in fellowship not only deepen spiritual connection but also boost happiness through community, support, and shared values.
